Many Mansions began in 2018 when Mike and Molly Williams recognized where God was at work and felt called to join Him.

Both carried a deep burden for single moms, shaped by their own life experiences. Molly had been widowed and knew firsthand the challenges of single motherhood. Mike, who was also widowed, had some experience as the son of a single mom, giving him a unique understanding of the struggles and strength of single mothers.

As Molly began serving in a new single moms ministry at Stonewater Church, she and Mike found themselves increasingly drawn to helping single moms. Over time, they sensed that God was calling them to something more. Close friends and supporters joined them in praying for wisdom and direction. Scripture teaches us to “test all things,” so they took a step of faith by filing paperwork to establish a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. To their surprise, their application was approved within weeks—a clear sign of God’s provision. Since then, the Lord has continued to go before them in this mission to connect single moms and their dependent children to the resources of the Kingdom of God for generational impact. From the beginning, Many Mansions has been committed to offering a “hand up, not a handout.” While meeting immediate needs, the ministry also walks alongside moms to empower them to become more self-sufficient. Through partnerships with churches, moms are connected to volunteers in single moms ministries who offer mentoring and meaningful relationships. Recently, the ministry has focused on equipping churches to launch their own single moms groups, creating supportive communities where moms can walk alongside others on similar journeys. In all of these efforts, we seek to provide God’s help, hope, and healing—reminding every mom that she is not alone and that God has a good plan for her life.

“I was a single mom myself, so I understand firsthand how challenging it can be. I first met Molly, co-founder of MM, through the single mom ministry at our church, and from the moment I learned about Many Mansions, I was drawn to its mission. With a background in nonprofit work and a deep desire to serve single moms, I felt called to be part of a ministry that not only helps meet their immediate needs but also connects them to Christian community—and ultimately to Jesus.”

“Growing up with a single mom taught me the struggles kids face. Now as a case manager, I’m honored to walk alongside single moms, providing the support and resources they need to take on the world and become self- sustainable. It’s a privilege to help them build a brighter future for themselves and their children.”

“Motherhood is undoubtedly a challenging journey, and navigating it can be especially difficult, if not overwhelming, for single parents. I deeply appreciate the ministry of Many Mansions, as it allows us to support and encourage mothers during their most challenging moments. By offering this support, we empower them to be the best version of themselves for their children.”
